Santhigiri, 14 May 2012:  Nearly five lakh visitors flocked to the Fest Village at Santhigiri Ashram yesteday, virtually turning the vast land in front of the Lotus Parnasala into a sea of people.

Santhigiri, 13 May 2012: The thousands of visitors, who flock to Santhigiri Ashram every day for the on-going Santhigiri Fest, are in for a pleasant surprise. As soon as one steps out of the commotion of the festive atmosphere, one enters into the Ashram’s Spiritual Zone, the sacred grounds which house its most sacred places.

Santhigiri, 10 May 2012: Mobile phone and internet addiction, along with the instance of quarrelling parents, has emerged the most prominent domestic problem faced by families, said  Retired District and Sessions Judge Muralee Sreedhar. He, along with a panel of doctors, legal experts, social workers and other eminent persons, has been giving free counselling to visitors at the Santhigiri Fest going on here. The center, called Santhwanasparsham, also gives medical and legal counselling to visitors.

Santhigiri, 09 May 2012: A wildlife and nature photo exhibition, at the Santhigiri Fest going on here, has on display, a handful of fine art photographs depicting the natural scenery from places all over India and capturing the wide variety of its bustling wildlife.

Santhigiri: If you are game for a peppery dish of mushroom cutlets, or a plate of a more sober mushroom tapioca rice, hop in to the Mushroom Stall  at the Santhigiri Fest. The stall, the chief attraction of the Energy and Environment Pavilion of Santhigiri Ashram at the Santhigiri Fest,  is drawing in crowds in large numbers every evening .

Santhigiri, 07 May 2012: The Siddha pavilion of the Medical Exhibition at the Santhigiri Fest going on here, became a rare exposition of the science and principles behind one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world.

Santhigiri, 06 May 2012: Lotus Parnasala is a universal symbol of human unity that transcends all divisions of religion or caste, said Mizoram Governor Vakkom Purushothaman. He was inaugurating the public meeting organised in connection with the thirteenth Navaoli Jyothirdinam Celebrations at Santhigiri Ashram.
