Guru had envisioned a newspaper that would be truthful as well as interesting to read. 'Umminithankam' is a news bulletin born out of that vision. Initially, it was a black and white tabloid published in the letterpress in the Ashram. It contained 'Guruvani', experiences of devotees and other ashram news.
However, today 'Umminithankam' has entered the colourful world of news and pictures. The bilingual news bulletin, brought out in Malayalam and English, is published during all special functions in the Ashram. It strives to keep high professional standards. It is the devotees' hope and prayer that this bulletin would one day become the newspaper of the world.
