Santhigiri Polymers was started in 1996 with over 30-year-old, second hand machines. The unit, with an installed capacity of 10,000 kg/month, manufactures plastic sheets, nursery covers, printed and plain covers.
It has facilities for recycling old plastic and also for printing.
The main intent in starting this unit was to meet the in-house demand for packaging material. At the same time, outside orders are also executed.
The fully mechanised unit has extruders, cutting and sealing machines and a printing machine.
The re-processing unit consists of a mixing machine, grinding machine and hand pouching.
